Review: Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

Hello my dreamcatchers! If you are a long reader of mine, then you probably know that I have a tinny tiny barely there lashes! The struggle is real! In order for my eyes to look awake I really need mascara. As you all know too, I'm into affordable products 'cause I'm a kuripot beauty blogger. haha. I know there's always out there great quality but affordable. Unless, I really really really want to have that product I will splurge on that. When buying mascara, I always go for affordable. I haven't had any mascara beyond PhP 500 since it's the most disposable one. lol. Mascaras life range is 3 to 6 months after opening so I don't bother spending too much on such item.

 Anyway, my favorite mascara is also from Maybelline which is the Hypercurl. I ran out of it so I decided to buy another mascara and I saw this newest mascara on their counter which is this Lash Sensational Mascara (waterproof). It retails for PhP 429.00 ($8.99 on their website).

Benefits:

Exclusive fanning brush with ten layers of bristles reveals layers of lashes for a sensational full-fan effect. Ophthalmologist tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers.

Obviously, there are short and longer bristles. The form is curve which helps to easily reach out inner lashes, roots up to the tips.

It really fanned out my lashes. I did not use curlers so I can see how it lengthen my lashes and how it curled them. It did not look spidery and did not clump. It is on your application. I had 2-3 coats to achieve those.

Overall, the Lash Sensational Mascara held up pretty well. The curl lasted for the whole 8 hrs of duty. It's lightweight. It looked natural on me. It did not smudge and it is really waterproof. I tried rubbing it with water but you really cannot remove this one but I easily removed with an oil based makeup remover like from Biore. If I will compare it to the hypercurl mascara, they're almost the same. I will probably not repurchase this one and just buy another hypercurl.
