Review: Tinted Lip Balms From Skin Treats By Katie

Here's a new product I received from sis Katie. Owner of @skintreatsbykatie It's their newest Tinted Lip Balms Retails for PhP190.00 each.

Packaging wise: the usual lip balm tube which is plastic and the sticker label around
it gave the tube an alive looking lip balm. Seriously, I love the design. It's so summerish and bright.

I believe these are natural tinted lip balms because ms.Katie caters natural/organic skincare products.
Anyway, it's a tinted lip balm,and like any other balm, it is a lip moisturizer that has a hint of color.
When I opened the cap and checked its colors (because you will not know the shade because of its name eh) I said "wow" these balms are so bright to look at and seemed pigmented.


Scent: Smells fruity but not that strong(gets?haha)
Shades: Sweet & Saucy -- it's the pinkish reddish shade
Anastasia -- thought it was plum when I opened the cap but when I swatched it,it's more a copper brown reddish in color which is the most pigmented among the other 2 shades
Tickle Me Pink -- the baby pink shade

Quite disappointed that it's not that pigmented as I expected it to be. It has a sheer finish and it isn't sticky. I actually gave a little more time that I thought the color will be visible after a few minutes but it didn't. So, I said to myself maybe it'll be pigmented on the lips since the balms are meant for the lips anyway.

Lip Swatches!

Well, after I tried every shade on my lips obviously it is not really pigmented except for Anastasia. Tickle Me Pink and Sweet & Saucy just gives a hint of natural color
on the lips while Anastasia is like a true blood color for me.
Because Anastasia is the most pigmented it lasted for 3 hours max with eating and drinking.
While the other 2 which is almost similar in color lasted for about an hour max.
Overall, these tinted lip balms are good for moisturizing and conditioning the lips.
It smoothen my lips and perfect for a no makeup makeup look or for everyday
to condition the lips. I even let my niece use this because I know it's
cruelty free and nontoxic and lead free.
I also love that one swipe on the lips gives the nourishing effect already
and even though the color didn't last long the moisture lasts all day.
Plus not only, you can use this on your lips but you can also use them as natural blush for the cheeks.
