Review: Fashion21 Ultimate Cover BB Cream + Concealer

Here in Cabagan, Fashion21 is not available to purchase so when I went to Quezon City I bought a few items to complete my one brand look. Instead of foundation, I purchased this Fashion21 Ultimate Cover BB Cream + Concealer as it promised a total face coverage.

Product Description:

Our lightweight formula provides excellent coverage that maintains its color even in the face of sweat and humidity. Both products can either be applied separately or combined for the smoothest evenly-toned and blemish-free look, and our three-color range fits any skin tone. It comes with SPF 30+.

 There are three available colors for the ultimate cover. I bought #2 since it's yellow undertone but I didn't know it's darker than my skin tone. I didn't purchase #1 since it has a pink undertone.

Packaging: It is housed in this tube and twist to lock cap and the concealer is placed there.

 

What it looks like:

Swatches: The BB cream is beige and has a yellow undertone while the concealer is a tad darker than what I expected and has a pink undertone.

See how it is darker than my skin tone. I hope that the concealer was lighter than the shade of the bb cream because it supposedly to highlight and brighten the under eye area for the instant lift effect but it turned out not and I probably should use this for light contour. On the other hand, I like the bb cream even though it has a light coverage. Contrary to its claims, it didn't have total face coverage since I still see my pimple marks peaking through. It didn't have any overpowering nor bothering scent. I think if I bought the #1 shade it'll be a perfect one for me. I didn't know that it'll oxidize on me and I thought this one was the right shade for me because of its yellow undertone. I'll still use the bb cream and mix with lighter bb creams. For the longevity, it lasted for about 3-4 hrs for as I have a combination skin type. It didn't cake and had a nice finish.
